What is the Need?

The 2024 Columbus School Bond Propositions A & B are driven by district enrollment growth and life-cycle replacement needs. As Columbus ISD's student capacity has increased and programs have expanded, the need for new learning spaces and facility improvements has rapidly grown.

The expansion and renovations to the elementary school will include NEW spaces that immediately address overcrowding concerns while updating outdated items/systems throughout the facility. The renovations and additions to the existing Agriculture Building Career & Technology Education (CTE) project will increase the functionality and safety of the facility. The proposed NEW CTE center will provide new opportunities for students through extended and additional programs. All proposed projects will not interfere with school operations.

Visit CISD's Bond website for additional information about the bond.
